It is a song about a trip I took with one of my best friends. In the summer of 2012 I travelled 7097 miles by bus and train around America. I sat on the edge of the grand canyon, stayed in a rooftop apartment overlooking Hollywood, touched the west coast and saw the Golden Gate Bridge. I slept on the streets in Seattle and had the best Chicken and Waffles anyone could ever imagine. I went to Vancouver in Canada, reunited with a beautiful, incredible girl and had sushi for the first time. I met people from all over the world and from all walks of life and have come to the conclusion that people are simply people. Black, white, old, young, rich and poor - these labels don't really matter because we all turn gray in the end.
